how to coat

I've made a few types of easy stars so far. I would like to start making some electric or metallic ones now using magnalium. I see that the magnesium needs to be coated in linseed oil.

 

Can somebody give me or link me to a step by step process on how to do this? I cant find any.

Look at the forum.... Coating Mg is right on the front page...

Its in the pyrotechnics section.

if your trying to coat the Mg in MgAl, then i dont think it will work. You will be fine w/o coating it.
