DragonsKing Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 hello everyone, i am trying to find a good video editing software, preferably free. I dont need anything fancy, i just want to be able to cut bits out, fast forward bits, add notes in the video. and hopefully something pretty easy to use. LOL thanks guys. Let me know what you use.
NightHawkInLight Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I movie or windows movie maker should have come with your computer, whatever the brand.
DragonsKing Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 I movie or windows movie maker should have come with your computer, whatever the brand. I have Windows Live Movie Maker, the only problem is, unless i have over looked it, i cannot do any fast forwarding or adding of writing in my videos, like you do. I can cut out sections, but i cannot fast forward my video or add any script to them.
50AE Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I use MAGIX Movie Pro v14, it's awesome. But it's kind of complicated for beginners, you have to learn it.
dagabu Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I am using Windows Live Movie Maker as well like in this video and I can slow down, add text in the beginning and overlay text as it is running. Take a look. D

Seymour Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 My computer is a mac, so naturally I used imovie. Now I've gone literally half way across the world and left my computer at home. Considering that I want to edit some pyro videos, and only have access to PC's, it looks like I'll need to use windows live movies maker. Dragonsking, we are in the same boat.
DragonsKing Posted May 1, 2010 Author Posted May 1, 2010 haha, i got MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus... now to only figure out how to use this contraption... 0.o
pillyg Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 try WAX its free and 100000x better than movie makeri am using sony vegas
pyrogeorge Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Windows Live Movie Maker can't save the video at the original come format..and the resolution will be change..Also if you try to save the video without editing, you will see that the original format will be 70MB for example, and the movie maker video will be less than 5MB..So you understand that the good resolution of your camera gone!I don't know if a secret option can avoid this...
