I am going to start the 'license' process and would like to reduce costs as much as possible. I am in the North Alabama area which carries a hefty $2,000 state manufacture license fee. My understanding is this can cover more than one person and if there are others in the area we could split the fee (assuming approval of FD). I am also looking for a type 2 magazine to secure in a wooden building on my lot (meets distance requirements) but would like to see if anyone in my area would give me a contingency letter for their storage in case I do not get approval for mine. Last thing would be any input on locating a type 2 magazine (always looking for a deal) and any info on a club/group in my area (Huntsville), haven't found one yet.
