TheSidewinder Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 File Name: Red Lance [Truely Red] by TrueBluePyroFile Submitter: TheSidewinderFile Submitted: 05 Mar 2010File Category: Chemistry & Experiments File originally submitted by TrueBluePyro This is just a test I made with my comp "Truely Red" The video shows the center being a bit white, but I can tell you that it is red all the way through it. Red Metallic Fueled Star:Name: Truely RedSource: TrueBluePyro Potassium Perchlorate............................................60Strontium Carbonate..............................................16Red Gum...............................................................9Parlon...................................................................8Aluminum, atom, spher, 120-325 mesh, 20 micron.........5Charcoal Airfloat.....................................................2 Just bind with acertone, or as I did today (not in the video) bind it with NC. Useing MgAl would be better then Al, but that is all have ATM. I did add 1% dark al to the comp to make it a little more hot, but it is just fine without it. I give credit to Lancaster's comp "Lancaster KP #2". I biult my formular from his and made this on better...well I think it is anyway, much better, for me. Red Organic Fueled Star:Name: Lancaster KP #2Source: Ron Lancaster Potassium Perchlorate...........70Strontium Carbonate.............15Red Gum...............................9Dextrin.................................4Charcoal Airfloat.....................2 In the video, I am droping and burning the lance under water, I was just doing this to see how it goes if i really did drop it... and the video makes it look really crap, you kinda have to try it your self to see it really.
