bruice Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 (edited) Hello everyone,Sea water is the natural water.Rivers join sea and throw in the impurities carried by them. Moreover, continuous evaporation of water from the surface of sea makes sea water continuously richer in disolved impurities.Sea water contains,on an average, about 3.6% of dissolved salts, out of which about 2.5% is chloride of sodium.Other salts present are sodium sulphate, potassium bicarbonates, calcium and magnesium, potassium bromides and magnessium bromide and a number of other compounds. Hence, such water are not safe for human consumption.thank you.BRUICE. Edited January 18, 2010 by TheSidewinder Removed a Spam link
