stormyweathers Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 after couple months hiatus, me and some buddies finally worked through to make some chysanthemum 6, pearl streamers, and yankies flashing stars. i dont have any shells to use, so we just packed a small cannon with about 6 stars and lit it.it seemed to work fairly well, at least for testing them i can't think of what else to make next, most likely a green or blue star comp. on pyroguide there are so many different formulas for what appears to be the same color. which blue and green star comps are your favorite and why?

Arthur Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 You chose formulations by function, then by whether you can get the ingredients, then by chemical incompatibilities with the rest of the device. Often out of several formulations there will only be one or two that meet your needs.
