Yafmot, I'm doing the same thing with my experiments, a document I am calling the (per)chlorate "opus". It's at 75 pages with probably another 75 to go. Why bother? I don't know, beyond the fact that I don't want a lot of work to slide into non-existence. Even if you don't find a receptive audience here (I'll read it eagerly), it'll be something you can refer to yourself in years to come, when the details are not as fresh, and the immediate knowledge is gone.

It's like a simple bag of some chemical. You fill the bag, and think "There's no way I'll forget what this is" and 1 year later, you find the bag and wonder what it is. :) Getting knowledge into a document while it's decently fresh is a good thing. Thank you for your contributions.

A year? NOT! I have a bag of charcoal star mix, it is clearly marked with my code referring to the comp on my PC. Now, there are three other bags of the same mix... on of the four is a bad mix, I would NEVER for get which one it was. I forgot.

That was in November when I made it. CRAP, now I have to press comets to find which one it was and burn it!

BTW- I added 30 grams of waxed cotton cloth to a small sky lantern, tied a 3' long piece of visco to it, attached a pack of flying fish to the end of the fuse and let her go! Its -5° here and she took off like a rocket. It got to about 1000' when the fish went off. I was really cool.

Just saying...

HAHA LMAO at the strawberries in my closet, now I am not recommending it but "The anarcist cook book" has great info on how to grow "strawberries" but also many other plants to.

I became a member of Icmag forums instead, information has come a long way since the ACB. I used flouros and got a decent result. Now I use the closet to flower my orchids.

That's it then. I'll just write up the whole damned thing, all the subsections, on Word and then post the whole mess at once. If anyone has an archive of the old E&W forum, I'd like to just use the part I already did on fibers, and basically finish from there. I may have it lurking somewhere on my drive. I'll dig around and see if I can find it.

What is the E&W forum?

Perhaps this site would be of help for retrieving information from it:

It's with great sadness to say Yafmot passed away earlier this year. He was 55 years old and apparently died from a stroke. We lost a very knowledgeable and intelligent member and it's a shame we didn't learn more from his expertise. I just thought fellow members might have wanted to know why he just 'disappeared' one day.

Thank you for the update Gunzway. My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to Yafmot's family. Definitely surprised to hear this and it is sad news. 55 years old is a young age in my book. Dang.

I was wondering why we had not heard anything from him and was waiting for his composites information. I was guessing that it took time to get the information together and in the meantime he got busy with other things.

Oh dear. That's sad news. :(

I'm 55. Sobering thought. He'll be missed all around.
