50AE Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Some workers left me cardboard tubes from saran wrap and there was some saran foil left on them. Do you think this could work for pyro ? Could I dissolve it, crush it and mill it into a powder ?

a_bab Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Actually it used to be "the real deal". But eventually it was considered too toxic or something (about 10 years ago) and it was phased out. Nowdays the PE is the replacement. It keept the same name though: "Saran cling wrap".
