Rooster Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Love your work, Pyroman! Looking forward to seeing more of your shells!
Pyroman2 Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 Thanks, I'm verry happy. You have to know, that your shells are example for me, especially canister. I live in Poland and unfortunately I have more problems. I can't buy shell casing, tubes, cardboard plugs red gums etc.I have to start from scratch. I have done shells for aobut 2 years.. I'll do it again, I passed my secondary school certificate and I have free time now.I'll give my movie, if I do shells. ps please forgive me my poor english RegardsP2
FrankRizzo Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Beautiful shell Pyroman! Would you mind sharing your brocade and strobe formulae?
al93535 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I have to agree, an excellent shell! I would be interested in hearing that formula as well!
Givat Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Beautiful shell Pyroman! Would you mind sharing your brocade and strobe formulae? Stars brocade crown and strobe are commercial BTW, very good shells, I liked the second one with the changing from D1 to green.
al93535 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Thanks for pointing that out quest, I read it but I just didn't realize it though. Using commercial stars kind of defeats the purpose though huh?
TheSidewinder Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Hmm... Using commercial stars, inserts, whistles, hummers, or whatever, should place entered shells into a different category, in my opinion. But I aint the judge..... M
optimus Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 This has been covered in the initial rules: "No purchased items, all items must be homemade. Fuse, cardboard products, shell casings, and black powder are exempt from this rule." I thought I was pushing the boudaries by using commercial flying fish! Never heard of anyone buying stars/inserts before.
joe609 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 How heavy were those shells? they shot up pretty damn quick
Pyroman2 Posted May 25, 2006 Author Posted May 25, 2006 How heavy were those shells? My 4" weigh about 250g - 300g. (2" can. 70 - 90g). I gave two 4" shell for competition : D1 glitter to green and D1 glitter and Golden Rain. I only went show you this first shell Brocade crown with strobe pistil, I don't give her for competition and I know that I must use only homemade products (exce[tions shell casing, cardboard etc.) I'd like know formula this brocade crown stars... I still have couple this stars, I have to do chemistry analysis.I have this stars from commercial 5" shell ( I bought her..). 5"commercial shell:http://www.apcforum.net/files/5inch_shell.jpg This small hemis with burst is 2inch.http://www.apcforum.net/files/5inch_shell_2.jpg( I did "autopsy" ) RegardsP2
Chris Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Just as a side note, be carefull when you are using chlorate burst with stars containing sulfur.
