aquaman Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I'm not sure but I am too going to try a smaller nozzel and see where that leads me. Test 15 here I come...
_DB_ Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 How many grams of composition did you use in that failed rocket, ActionTek?
ActionTekJackson Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Ok, well I made some progress. I finally got this comp to fly, however, it was short lived and it hit the house and burned the deck a little... *le sigh* I can guess several reasons for this, 1. the nozzle size was too small to give enough power, and 2. I drilled the nozzle and core so it probly wasn't quite straight... I'm gonna say a bit of both... So I'll make a tooling set with a slightly larger nozzle than the one I just used and let ya guys know. BTW, it strobed and everything, it was really quite beautiful... just... not against the house....
aquaman Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 What was your ID for your rocket and the nozzel size? The strobe is all I'm trying to make it do.
ActionTekJackson Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 the ID for the rocket was 3/4" I'll get back to you on the nozzle size. I'll have to check the bit, can't remember off hand and I have to go to work. Letchya know tonight.
