bogey1 Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 before anybody flames me about salutes, i've been building ground/ariel salutes for over 7 years, but i haven't and wont get into the sulfur mix salute..anyway, i was at a show last year and the salutes they were launching weren't the typical bright white flash salutes, they were a deep red color salute. the sound was a deep thud, not a crack. my question is, what chemical make up was it?
Ventsi Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) There was a red flash thread somewhere around the forum .... Found it! -Red FlashThe sound in my expirience is a result of the casing - strong casing-sharp sound, weak casing [non spiked paper]- deep low thud.Hope I helped! Edited May 23, 2009 by Ventsi
