qwezxc12 Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Guys, All of my gallery videos appear to be gone; the thumbnails are there, but there is no longer an embedded video. ?????
TheSidewinder Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 What the hell??? Yeah, I see what you mean. I'll see what I can do.
TheSidewinder Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Well, this is weird. ALL the video clips were failing, not just yours. The filetype I tried to implement last week (.MOD) seems to have been the cause. As soon as I removed the definition for it, all the videos showed up. Sorry, Ventsi, I guess you can't upload .MOD videos after all. They'll have to be WMV or AVI.
TheSidewinder Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 You're welcome, glad I could help. I've escalated this to the IPB Peer Support forums to try and get an answer. We SHOULD be able to add any damn file-type at ALL, as long as the code in the setup for it is correct. It may be a few days before I get a definitive answer, though. And, if worse comes to worse, I can open a Support Ticket with IPB "formal" Support since our software still has Support included. We'll get this resolved one way or another.
Ventsi Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 No problem ,I can convert my videos now I just don't have the time to do it. Sorry for the complications everyone!
TheSidewinder Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Not your fault, Ventsi! This is something we should know about, and of which I was unaware until this week.

OldMarine Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 I caught grief on 3 forums for a bad video link. I'll wait for WiFi and use YouTube henceforth. Downloading files is a pita.
TheSidewinder Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 I keep getting an error that says I've exceed my band with Hrm, let me investigate. You should not be getting that error. EDIT: OK, that was happening because you were in the Full Members group, which does have bandwidth restrictions. Now that you're a donator, you have no limit.
