psyco_1322 Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Hmm you don't see to have any dies for the threads. I should finish mine. Every time I see one I get all excited and want to go work on mine. I got a few of the pieces made, the die and the spool holders. Some starts of wooden pulleys, whether or not I use wood ones is another story. Looks great, get some pics of the finished product and how it preforms.
50AE Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Seems to be a solid, good machine ! Good luck with your visco production
Arthur Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 There certainly used to be some good Youtube vids of Chinese visco machines in operation. Very simple -probably been there for years, driven by shafting from a motor in another room. Somewhere there they had a vid if a quick match machine. String and paper at one end and piped QM on reels at the other end, amazingly simple!
homebrewed77 Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 i had to take a look..nice! how long did you work on it for? and also..when are we going to see her up and running?
GlowinPontiac Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 If your looking for NC try photography shops. I found a bottle of liquid NC that was meant to be used for splicing old film. Not sure if it is ideal for fuse but it works pretty well in my tests.
TrueBluePyro Posted May 9, 2009 Author Posted May 9, 2009 Thanks for that, but I have just been making it with smokeless gun powder melted in acertone, it seems to work great.
TrueBluePyro Posted June 4, 2009 Author Posted June 4, 2009 Dp you mean upload them to APC, yeah I might, but I kinda want them on my site, but I'm going home soon, so I should have a video of the machine in action and a fuse burn test.
pyrogeorge Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 sorry,i mean from your visco fuse. ok we will waiting your videothanks
