There's nothing worse than loosing someone close. I lost my mom about a year and a half ago, and we were extremely close.

When I first heard the news I went instantly numb and almost passed out. For the first week after I wanted nothing more then for my life to end. It's a horrible thought, but that's exactly how I felt. That period of my life was truly hell. I'm better now, but I miss her terribly. I just can't help but wonder how things would be with her still here.....

On an extremely lighter note, even though it's months away I got asked to prom today by a very attractive girl. Hooray for me. :)

Speaking of cats, who here has a them :P I love my cats. Ragdolls, they have a reflex that makes them "flop" when scared or happy.

I am also depressed as I am sick as hell, feeling like shit.

Thanks everybody, I am feeling a little bit better already. I think my mind is still saying it didn't happen..

& if there was one thing he loved more than my sister it would have been his cat..

I don't have a picture but It was a all floffy grey cat, like the ones from wiskas. It's name is Bijou. It is french for juwel.

And his parents, those sweet people were devastated..

And the worst thing about it is the feeling being unable to do something to help. If I had to walk to the center of hell to tell the devil to let me go to the gates of heaven to get him back for my sister I wouldn't even hasitate..

I lost my grandfather in august. Luckily I was at a party, when I heard the news, so I got piss-drunk and it changed my mind thinking, we will all go once, it was just his time and felt alot better.

Well, here's a pic of one of my 3 cats. She's a Grand Champion Maine Coon, just under 2 yrs old. We're breeding her next time she cycles. The kittens, however many she has, are already spoken for. I have a long list. :D

On the subject of cats, I must say that DOGS ARE SUPERIOR! :P

Now don't start that argument...we all know cats are far superior to canines. :D  :P

I have three cats(and a stray that decided it liked our house)

I might post pics if I get bored enough

These two are brother and sister, although you'd never know it.

Really? My cats have never tried to retrieve and return a ground salute when thrown in the yard......

Yeah, dogs and pyro don't mix well at all. My friend's dog almost got hit in the face by a shell last Fourth of July because it was barking at the fuse buring inside of the mortar!

That's one reason I prefer dogs. They do some of the dumbest things that I find hilarious. All the cats I've ever had were kind of "stuck-up", that is, they slept all the time and ignored me.

Two cats, one fatass tortoiseshell that hates anyone but me and a couple other people. One weird cross of a lynx and a ragdoll, and then the other half of him random stray breed. Nicest temperment out of any cat I have ever met. Getting rather old unfortunatly.

Five cats over here. Two gray tabbies, one tux cat, one random mix cat, and one ragdoll. Poor ragdoll, a neighbor ran over her and popped out her eye. Really gross story, I won't get into it here ;) but she is a good cat. Heck my family used to have 5 other cats, but they kept on getting smashed by cars or eaten by something. It's like cats are car magnets, I live in a low populated area and they still get squashed :( . Oh well, we always replenish the unlucky ones with stray cats that come to our house.

DB , we both know that this is incorrect, providing false information is looked down on as some people may believe it and misuse the information. :D

My cat stays well away from fireworks, on guyfawkes, he slept in the middle of the house as far from the outside on each side, and went to sleep.

My dog goes ape shit if I make to much noise. Hell I wish this little guy was quiet like me. My cat usually jumps in front of me while I am mixing chemicals and that is bothersome too. Neither animal is better than the other...

I find that chickens make fine pets. Theyre probably some of the stupidest animals alive, but they stay in the yard and the rooster really knows how to greet people.

Tell me about it, when ever i launch rockets/shells my dog tries to chase them and one time i didn't know she was out there and i launch a 1lb rocket and she ran up . Lets say she didn't have any whiskers.

I've decided that I need to upgrade/replace my digital camcorder. I only bought it a few months ago, but the video quality is far from impressive. I'm thinking about going into filming as a career later on, so I think I need a camera that will make professional-quality video. This one seems nice! - DCR-VX2100

If any camera-smart people could give me some advice it would be much appreciated. I want a high end camera that leaves plenty of room for add-ons, such as wireless mics, alternate lenses, and this one seems fitting. I'm just not sure if I should get a High Definition camera instead.

I’ve been wanting to get a video camera with the hard dive in it but there too expensive at the moment. The camera I’m using at the moment has a ok quality when you play it on quick time, but when ever I put it on a file-hosting site the video is very grainy.

Sorry for the double post.

Are plastic Christmas balls any good for making shells? Seeing how its that time of year again there in plentiful supply rather cheap.

They are good for the shape, but they are usually a lot thinner than bought plastic shells. You can use them for sure, but you will have to paste them with a few layers of good kraft
