Isn't hair a fire retardant? If he has a fire he will just stand on his head....

Actually I think that hair is pretty flammable. Unless its wool....which supposedly won't burn.

Hair will catch fire, just watch americas funniest home videos. Watch as the brides hair catches fire from the cake. Quite funny but I wouldn't want to loose my hair... http://communitylink.gopbi.com/servlet/gro...109651990887057

Three things. First, my hair is shorter now. Second, that picture is nice and blurry so I look much different. And lastly, chicks DO love me for the size of my rocket B)

What? I knew hair was flammable when I discovered binaca and a lighter at an age to young to remember.

My hair is almost as long as Po's. Maybe an inch or two shorter at the most. I've never had a problem with mine catching on fire except when one of my friends brings his lighter to school and tries intitiating an inferno in everyone's head.

Mine isn't that long yet, but I'm working on it. I have the longest male hair in my school. I really start to hate it when the wind makes it all crazy and I get food in it when I eat! But if I got it cut a lot of girls would be pissed at me. Seriously, my hair has a pretty big fan base.

On a different note, I'm currently trying to make a kilo of BP. I have 600 grams at the moment. I have a small mill so I can only make 100 grams at a time. 200 grams takes way too long and almost overloads the thing.

I know what you mean about the wind. I have to face into the wind so it blows my hair back instead of forward. ^_^ Mine has somewhat of a fan base for its golden softness. Its almost the longest male hair in my school. Theres this one dude who's hair is very near to his gluteus maximus. I'd hate to have that long of hair and try taking a crap.

Yep, those salutes were big enough to set off the car alarms a number of times!

Hahaha, exactly the same for me, DB. Longest male hair in school, more attention from girls and it keeps getting into food. It started out as a bet early last year. Group of friends said they'd all put in money if I grew my hair until the end of the school year (about the 20th of December) and now they're not going to pay. Bastards...

I haven't brushed my hair since...A very long time ago. Last time it was brashed was by a girl on school camp last year. Getting your hair brushed is pretty awesome. I can see why dogs get off on being patted.

I want to take a weed wacker to half the people in my school. I'm tired of all these emo/skater punks with bushy hair. Long hair is cool, theirs is just nappy and looks retarded.

hahahaha a weed whacker

I just made my first good working black powder B)

Is there any other way to correctly measure out ingredients without the use of a digital scale? I had to eyeball it.

Peace, Zeppelin

Just save up your money. The scale I bought was like $25 with a calibration weight so you won't have to save up that long. Plus with scales your compositions come out alot better.

I know this question has been asked several times before and I myself remember asking it, but no one has ever given an answer. Are there any good colored chrysanthemum comps out there?

Where did you buy it from? Im in Canada. Thanks.

Even if it was flake, it would be shitty flash. Anyway, at least give him the benefit of the doubt that he's not intending to make flash.

When someone suggests 'cheap aluminum', it implies that they have seen the prices for german dark, and see, oh this is cheap stuff! What a good deal!

I suspect, anyhow.

Yeah, I have my guesses as well, but we can at least hope he won't try to be making flash since he is so incredibly inexperienced.

Well, you can use Al for other things (Sparks, for example) But I'm actually talking to mubles as I type this about what the difference between flake and atomized is et cetera. I don't even know how to make flash other than 70/30 KNO3/Al I don't know what kind of Al, et cetera. I was just trying to help....

Well tonight I tried my hand at some MgAl. Everything went well in the process. I ended up with about 500 g of 50:50 MgAl with a thin layer of black oxidation on the top. My Al was scrap froma scrap yard, and the Mg was an engine cover from a motorcycle that blatently had " Magnesium " written on it.

I powdered some in my m&p for about 30 minutes and got it really fine, but 70:30 KClO4:MgAl made a shitty slow Flash. I hear that MgAl makes wicked Flash, and was shocked when I used this as means for a test of my MgAl. By itself in a fine powder crackles and burns brilliant white when a blow torch is held to it. It had the distinct ammonia smell, I cooled it fast with water, and the end alloy was very brittle and powdered well in my m&p.

Has anyone had this similar problem? Is it very important to get the oxide layer off of it for it to work properly? Whatever I got, it looks beautiful in a fountain :D

If you've got any KMnO4 try making about a gram of...I've forgotten the ratio, 50/50, 40/60 or 30/70. I can't remember. But even with really coarse MgAl it was extremely fast.

Here's a video of 0.2g of 50/50 MgAl/KMnO4 flash burning. Really really crude flash powder. The MgAl is 200 mesh at most and the KMnO4 isn't much better. You can see how chunky the MgAl is. I'll have to make some good stuff for you to see.

MgAl flash powder (shitty)

And while I'm at it, I may as well take advantage on Photobucket's video feature. Kekeke!

One of those smoke bombs on Passfire. Just a small one...It burned for a total of 45 seconds (I edited it).
