FrankRizzo Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 The problem with scanning the latest AFN is that it has a conventional binding, unlike previous releases that used a plastic comb that was easily separated for single sheet scanning.
Pyrohawk Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I'm looking forward to that, Mumbles, even though girandola building is mnot one of my first projects. We need someone to scan the latest AFN. That one, I REALLY want. I plan on contributing Hardts book. I assume you mean The Best of AFN V? I have it....maybe I could scan it somehow... Actually I was somewhat dissapointed in it from what I expected having read the others. Pretty cool picture of a ball mill exploding though
Mumbles Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 If I'm not mistaken, someone has already scanned it. Don't know how, or if it will be released to the pool, but it has already been scanned.
PyroJoe Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I am going to make a large batch of "globe salutes" a.k.a. Cherry bombs. I will be using the original process of putting them in a large star roller (cement mixer) and using water glass and sawdust. I will take many pictures and write an entire detailed tutorial on it. Would that get me into the pool? If not ill just post it in the tutorials section.
nesler Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 No. Too simplistic, and that information is readily available.
