TheSidewinder Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I installed it over the weekend and have to say I'm impressed. Yes, a few quirks and not all Vista software runs on it, but still...... it's impressive. Using it right now. Anyone else?
WarezWally Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Nope, couldn't be bothered to chuck it on a spare machine and didn't feel like setting up a VM for it. Last beta I tried from Microsoft was a Longhorn beta and it was buggy to say the least
norco Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 hi, i'm using windows 7, but wich version do you use? I use build 7000.
TheSidewinder Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 I'm on Build 7000 as well. So far, so good. But two of the four NICs on my mobo are acting flaky. Driver issue, no doubt. Anyone else??
Miech Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I downloaded it, but I don't think I'm ever going to use it. If it takes the same resources as Vista, my PC won't run it smoothly enough to play games on it. A friend of mine installed it though, and hacked it to get a key until August. It looks good, but it doesn't convince me.
TheSidewinder Posted January 15, 2009 Author Posted January 15, 2009 No need to hack anything. MS revised their beta program. Anyone can get a key now, and it's good til August 1st.
