masterofdisaster Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Probably one of the biggest amateur starmines ever. A 7'' monster starmine shot as a part of NYE fireworks. Assembly pictures: http://www.shrani.si/f/43/Dm/4UNDihr9/img3500.jpghttp://www.shrani.si/f/2D/6t/2bZTC1RN/img3506.jpghttp://www.shrani.si/f/18/Sp/3GLWpowS/img3515.jpghttp://www.shrani.si/f/21/2i/196eqE1a/img3531.jpg It weighed somewhere around 2kg. The stars used were Chrysanthemum 6 to Aluminum Streamer and some 50mm Chrysanthemum 6 comets.Video: It probably looks small, but it was filmed from far away and seeing it live was awesome.
TheSidewinder Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 A very nice mine to go with that shell in the other post. Great work!
NightHawkInLight Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Incredible, you really need several camera angles to grasp its size, still I can imagine. Very nice.
DeepOvertone Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Was it windy or were those stars jetting a bit?
