Frozentech Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 well im about to make a ariel shell farly soon and all i want to know is what is a super easy composistion that i could use in it i dont cair what color it is just want it to be simple for my first one.thank you The 'easiest' ones in my opinion are the charcoal based comps such as Chrysanthemum#6, Tiger Tail or Willow. A quick search here should turn up all of these.
justanotherpyro Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Meal n metal is an easy composition. You really should check the composition section and look around to see which one is easiest for your availiable chemicals.
Nuetral Posted April 8, 2006 Author Posted April 8, 2006 ok thank you guysthink il do one of the charcoals and Tiger Tail
Von Bass` Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Please accept my apologies if i am wrong about this, but, if you havent experimented with stars before, then you havent made a roman candle or a starmine before? In which case maybe an aerial shell may be a little out of your range? I would view it as about the most difficult conventional firework to make. Again, sorry if you are experienced in these matters, and please post videos/pictures if all goes well!
RUUUUUN Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I have never made any "stars" per se, but I have made aerial shells.
Mumbles Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I in no way consider salutes aerial shells. There is no skill or artistry in it.
Rogue Chemist Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I like silver (forgot the name, but its a meal and metal one(85meal, 10Al(325),5dex) and tiger tail. Both pretty easy and very nice.
Mephistos Minion Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Rogue, that is "Reeper Silver" named for its creator; Blindreeper. If you have the Al it is easy as making meal, screening in Al and Dextrin, and rolling/pumping/cutting.
