marks265 Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 The source is from a paint line where steel parts are sprayed with an acid based solution. Iron phosphate settles in the bottom of the tank in an extremely fine slurry which needs to be cleaned out occassionally. It is yellowish in color and the ph is about 4 which can be easily corrected towards nuetral if need be. I am told that it is about 80% iron phos. Any use for pyro? I never hear anything about a phosphate compound so I thought I would try the "It never hurts to ask" card.
