persut Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 i am going to start to sell paper tubes , i just wanted to find out what you guys use the most of? size id, wall, length and parallel or spiral wound?
psyco_1322 Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Id like to see some cheaply priced, elcheapo tubes that are full bp motor length. For use as cheap nozzle less rockets. The crapy craft ones firefox sells works great but they are a bit over priced. All the other nice rockets I make that are worthy of a better tube I use NEPTs on. So if you reawlly wanted some business you could start selling NEPTs, they are really nice tubes.
KinneticEnergy Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I make my own parallel craft tubes (3/8"id), however, I have started looking around for some cheap ones on the net. There all so damn expensive! I think you could make some $$ selling sturdy parallel paper tubes.
marks265 Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I just bought a boat load of 3/4 and 1" tubes. My next thought would be 1-1/2" ID X 3/16 or 1/4" wall and 3 or 4 feet long for building cakes. I have plenty on my plate now and still under a minor lock down. So things have been really boring around here lately.
persut Posted May 6, 2008 Author Posted May 6, 2008 i just got up my prices for the spiral tubes you can check them out here.http://www.pyrodirect.com/ccp0-catshow/Spiral_Tubes.html still working on getting a good price for the parallel tubes.
pudidotdk Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Wow, some serious thickness there,"3/8in ID x 5.5in OD"
persut Posted May 6, 2008 Author Posted May 6, 2008 "100pc 5 3/8in ID x 5.5in OD x 6in Length Spiral Tube"
pudidotdk Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Ah, my bad!On another note, anyone have a source of NEPT in Europe, or do I really have to fly to the states to buy 'em?
TheSidewinder Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 I don't think you'd have to fly here to get them. I'd be surprised if NONE of the suppliers would ship to you, though the cost may be a killer. Have you emailed any of them?
oskarchem Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 My step father works for an American company and he travels alot to the states, maybe, one day if he can he'll bring a couple thousand NEPT tubes, and I could resell them to the European pyros, but that's a bit off subject.
persut Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 just finned my pricing for parallel tubes, http://www.pyrodirect.com/ccp0-catshow/PaperTubes.html btw i ship all over the world. kevin
