Ball mill jar size and the amount of media used

So guess what? I just got the fittings and stuff for the drum/barrel and its to big. I didn't think I'd have to measure it so the drum is too big for the shafts. So I need to take another trip to the hardware store and buy a rod, go to metal shop and cut it.
