Pyro1 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 HA! Got you beat by 6 months! Welcome fellow geezer i found a rusty old anti spill dog bowl at the end of my garden, the hole in the top was just big enought to fit my wifes hairdryer in, wow mixing that 1lb of flash with that hairdryer really turned the months on, my hair turned white in seconds , i recon we are about even now Paul.

Algenco Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Been a member since my wife got her membership, I get coffee for cheep now. It didn't bother me, but when it arrived 2 days before Christmas it put a momentary damper on the holiday spirit
Siegmund Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I was surprised to see how many young folk responded to this poll. I always thought of it as a middle-aged man's hobby or beyond... the sort of thing you gave up after you hurt yourself with a firecracker as a teenager, and then rediscovered after you gave up chasing girls Assumed at 35 I'd be one of the younger ones here. Good points about how the computer factor alters the distribution somewhat.

dagabu Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 (edited) he always told me "never mix any amount of product you dont want to explode in your face" words to live by... Hmmm, I guess that a firecracker would be all you can make then? When I mix comps, I make as much as I will use for the project, that can be a kilo of each comp in some cases, there would be no chance of surviving a kilo going off but that is the risk sometimes. BTW- Lots has changed from then, we use scotch foam double sticky tape now Edited December 23, 2010 by dagabu
athlon Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I'm feeling a bit middle aged around here at my 36, soon 37, years!
