random thread in random discussion and chat

OK, like I said, don't shoot me I'm the piano player.

 

I looked in all the forums for something with the word random thread in it.

 

Under the description of Random Discussion and Chat forum, the quote is:

 

"Random threads and topics that do not pertain to the other sections."

 

So by by the admin's own definition, there's the "random thread" forum.

 

Wouldn't it be easier to set up a separate Random Thread forum than to snip at posters who start random threads in a forum which by its own definiton is for "random threads?"
