Well, I just got my ballmill, the same one on unitednuclear.com

Does anyone have the same one and can tell me how to open it? I took off the nut, then the washer, now i dont know what to do.

There are five parts to the tumbling jar (six if you count the metal sealing plate with rubber cover as two parts): The nut, metal outer plate, washer, inner sealing plate, and the main jar.

To open it unscrew the nut, take off the washer, take off the metal outer plate (you may need to go around the perimeter of it with your fingernails to get it off), then work out the inner sealing plate (if your mill is new the rubber is sticky and you may have to work it a bit to get it out).

Hold on to the threaded bar and squeeze the barrell. It will come loose.

Take your thumb and bend back the edge of the barrel, take the little aluminum washer and use it to pry the edge of the top up.

That's a great mill, but the way; good choice. Your have some wonderful BP on the way soon.

I have the same one. I take the nut, the washer, and the outer metal plate thing off. Then I grab the barrel and pry with my thumbs on the screw thing itself. The screw is a bit loose, but that doesn't matter much.

Has any one else noticed the rubber cover that goes over the metal main plate thing shrinking? Mine no longer fits as well on it.

Mine has always been a bit too small. I also believe the recessed part of the barrell that the metal cap goes over is thinning out. It looks thinner every time I look at it. Is that just me, or has anyone else noticed a true decrease?

I already have some great BP =D

I just used a tumbler from Toys "r" us!!

Anyways, I can actually make a decent amount of bp with this though. Thanks guys!

I've noticed that it seems to be getting smaller too mumbles. Not to the point where it wont fit but now the rim of the seal is tapering outwards from the center.

Anyway, if anyone didn't know(I think it should be made clear a lot that those rock tumblers can be found for a lot cheaper than the 50 to 100 dollars a lot of pyro' sites are selling them for) you can get those 3 and 6 pound tumblers for cheap at harborfrieght.com (They're made by Chicago Electric)

Oh and also to stay on track, just use a flat head screw driver or something else thats flat and strong to take off the top but just be careful to not bend the first metal top.
