fredjr Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Simple flying fish or falling leaves headers. http://pyrotechnics.no-ip.org/files/flying...t%20headers.doc Video of a couple 4 oz. whistle rockets with flying fish headers. Camera sucks but you get the idea.http://pyrotechnics.no-ip.org/files/flying%20fish%20vid.wmv
WarezWally Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Can you make it a pdf because i cannot view .doc files and im having trouble even saving it.
Mumbles Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 I think the forum thinks that it's an image and is corrupting it. I'll have a look around and see if I can't fix it later today, but likely it would have to be reuploaded. It might be easier just to use the filehost for this for the time being. http://www.apcforum.net/files/
fredjr Posted October 9, 2007 Author Posted October 9, 2007 Removed attachment and posted doc on http://pyrotechnics.no-ip.org
WarezWally Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Nice tutorial, only problem is its a bit hard to see in the video. Might give it a shot if i can get some flying fish sometime.
shagaKahn Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Kool thread. Just as I was getting slightly confident building stars, I found out how easy it is to use flying fish. Here's the first test video shot in my back yard. Maybe eight or nine flying fish pieces (unprimed) just launched from a stargun with a tiny skoop of lift powder: http://www.efn.org/~mikemcoo/flyingFishMine.html Have never tried priming these for aerial shells and they've all lit so far--though priming surely can't hurt. (Can't wait to try crackling flying fish). Oh and thanx for the anvil cutter tip. Trying to cut masses of flying fish fuse with a scissor is just asking for a friction spark.
