fireworksvideo Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Hay,everybody here. After so long hard working, recently completed my construction of fireworks video site...Here you could see lots of fireworks video..... Really wish to hear your suggestion... www.fireworksvideo.net Fireworks Video
optimus Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Videos don't work for me, and the site loads incredibly slowly. Not much fun atall.
Pretty green flame Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Videos work for me, you just need to click the product title above the pic. But yes, the site loads INCREDIBLY slow, takes all the fun out of watching. Even though, some of the products are really nice, I especially like the Green peony shell.
optimus Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 To be a little more concise, the videos time out each time I try to load one. So it's a problem with server speed, not applets/codecs...
Tyneman Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I can't seem to get anything to show.Just opens a black pop-up wich loads for a while then dies out on me.Shame, cos the pictures look really nice. Gr33tZ
RUUUUUN Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Everything works great for me, nice, fast page load, vid. Dl's and buffers in seconds, sound is great, nice layout, great site dude! Kudos
optimus Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Just tried the site again, and the videos are working fine now - much better. Nice videos! I like the way the videos are set to loop, adn the 'Cocount to Flying Fish' shell is great! keep uploading - there are some wonderful effects there.
h0lx Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Nice videos, but a few tips: *Lay off the contrast, man. The site is a pain to look at. Black backrounds are lame anyway, try something... calmer, like black text on say... #FFFFCC *Make it compatible to 1024x768, why fuck with <div>-s, when you don't need them and they look fucked up on some browsers, use tables, much simpler and more effective. *The links bar has some errors too, I couldn't find them with my sleepiness, but they exist, try using tables here too. *NEVER EVER display html resized large images on any page it makes stuff load slow, the resizing is much uglier, than properly resampled and they waste bandwidth of your website, which will make your website go bye-bye until the end of the month(or if you rent more) if it gets exceeded. Hope this helps...
pudidotdk Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Well, you don't like dark websites?Damn, I always make my websites dark/grey, including my new one:http://pyrotechnics.no-ip.org/files/pudi-design.jpg(It's only a draft)What do you guys think?
optimus Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Looking great pudi. I much prefer light text out of dark backgrounds, not just on websites but also in print. Not sure how well that logo sits on the background though, and I'd change the font, but that's just me and I'm quite anal about typography : ) It's sad I know but I have to be for my job...
RUUUUUN Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 In the cake section AF122 plays 123 and 123 plays 124 and it goes like that till the end I believe, it starts at 122, 121 plays itself.
h0lx Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Maybe it's because I read stuff in a dark room and I am mostly tired. But I really think sites should be eye friendly. Besides black backgrounds make sites look far more improffesional. oh and pudi's ain't that dark=better

For your own good ;{)
