Spider Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 HeyIm totally new here and actually I just wanted to show you some of my creations, so that you can give me some improvement suggestions If my english has some errors, please excuse My cake looked like this:http://1click.pyroszene.net/file/366/cake.jpg Two of the shells I shot looked like this:http://1click.pyroszene.net/file/334/Zylin...geschn%FCrt.JPGhttp://1click.pyroszene.net/file/333/Zylinder_fertig.JPG It was a present for my dad, and I had only some tigertailstars. I had to use them up They were 6mm, 8mm and 1cm, pumped. Nothing special, but my parents liked it. I hope you can give me some review! The video finally:http://1click.pyroszene.net/file/365/Cake.wmv.WMV Here I have also the video of a 60mm Starmine, also Tigertail. My new chemicals arrived just yesterday =)http://1click.pyroszene.net/file/20/starmine.wmvUnfortunatly i don't have any prefire pics, but it was a simple bagmine construction. Greets from Switzerland!Spider
Mardec Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Nice work dude!! I am a huge fan of Carbon tail stars, C6 especially. But TT isn't bad. Really nice Job. Only I would try to slow down the burning rate of your stars, then it would be even more beautifull.
qwezxc12 Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Nice work. What type of charcoal are you using for your TT stars? Do you make your own BP for lift?
jacob Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I hate to be a stickler, but that wasn't a pvc pipe in that pic was it? otherwise great work and welcom to the forum.
Spider Posted June 30, 2007 Author Posted June 30, 2007 HeySome stars were just about 6mm, so they burned very quickly.I used charcoal from a beech. I really like the color this charcoal gives. For sure I make the BP by myself, what a question:PNope, no PVC, PVC suxx as mortar*g* 0.5cm strong HDPE pipes. For this calibre they are good enough.greetz
jacob Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 oh ok, i don't think i've ever seen white hdpe pipe, that's why i asked, good job on useing the right material for your tubes, that's not common for a first timer.
Spider Posted June 30, 2007 Author Posted June 30, 2007 Oh sorry, I think I missunderstood you. The black ones are HDPE, the brown is a 3mm strong PApertube and the white one is also a papertube, but about 8mm strong.fG
Mardec Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Dude, the front and the back are cardboard, even my blind dead grandmother can see that. The middle ones are hdpe, I though you ment those.. 0,5 cm is for HDPE 2" very think, My 4" are 8 mm and they are indestructable. EDIT: This replay was @ jacob
jacob Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I swear that white thing looks JUST like 1'' pvc, but i get it it's cardboard. jeez .
fight fire with fire Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Nice job spider, that was a pretty nice cake, short and sweet
Mardec Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Spiral wound pvc tube? I can clearly see on the front and the back tube that it is spiral wound.
