4" ball shell

After a lot of 2 and 3" shells I started to make a 4" shell and I think it was a real nice one.

The tail went off to early:( I think he went off because of the sparks who came of the visco fuse

What did you use for burst?

That was a great shell! The D1 glitter was the inner petal I think, what was the comp for the outer stars?

6" is said to be the smallest size for double petal that works, I see now that is not the case.

ThaYankee, I love the shells you post, both the look of the handcraft and the effect, both things matters a lot to me.

The innerpetal was 2" with D1 Glitter stars

The outerpetal was 4" with Chrysanthemum stars

For burst I used 6 grams flashpowder.

 

The 2" hemi was made by myself, but the 4" is a commercial hemi.

The shells I made before are all 100% handmade, but a few months ago I got the possibility to buy some commercial hemi's. And i'm very happy I bought them, cause it takes a lot of time to make your own hemi's
