Bju90 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Made a small lance/flare with SrNitrate, aluminium powder, parlon and Sulfur to test the Sr Nitrate I just made from reacting Sr Carbonate with Nitric Acid. It definitely produced a red but then turned orange. Is the Orange more likely from the red mixing with the tube burning or the Borax I had soaked the tube in to make it somewhat fire resistant ?
