Thanks for the encouragement. I've taken a lot of inspiration from this site. The tiger tail is a really big effect for the size of star and it helps fill the sky a bit as they are very brief effects. This one is with Jopetes fuchsia #1. I'm now looking for two effect that go well together. TT + fuchsia 1.mov
Darkonez Posted Wednesday at 09:45 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:45 PM You seem to be getting some nice colors, I’m working on mine at the moment among a dozen other things.
johnnypyro Posted Saturday at 10:02 PM Author Posted Saturday at 10:02 PM This is Ttger tail (0.88) with #100 Ti (0.12) comet. GX010200.mp4 It worked as I hoped so I put it in with Buell green: GX010201.mp4
ThunderEx Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Cool. I know everything is already really tiny, but would it be possible to make the stars say half the size to fit more? The effect will not last long of course, but will be more "full", if that make sense?
johnnypyro Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago Yes - you read my mind! The MgAl in Buell green makes it burn brighter and quicker and the stars have to be a bit bigger to get any kind of duration. I'm going to try an organic star: Shimizu's `green. From what I've read it's a slow burner so hopefully the stars can be cut smaller - they're so small already - and then I can pack a few more in the bombette. 1
