DavidF Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Ned Gorski sometimes sells Pyrotechnica editions in his store on Fireworking.com. The gentleman that prints them is on there too. His name is Mike Swisher. He would know about the availability. It's a very involved study, and I had to read it quite a few times before I absorbed the information (somewhat) completely.
PyroGnome Posted August 17 Posted August 17 I've been looking for the Winokur paper but Ned's website just shows $0 prices for everything (but oddly shows a shipping cost) so I'm hesistant to attempt ordering anything there. I tried the contact but it took me to a login or subscribe for $50 a year page, or I'd have just asked them. Anyone else having that problem or did I just go there at the wrong time?

Just dead end links from 2012 and ridiculous "did you mean" suggestions from Google. The closest thing I found an actual physical copy of is the military field manuals for field improvised munitions and booby traps. Which I've already read.
DavidF Posted August 18 Posted August 18 (edited) I found Shimizu's F.A.S.T. , Hardt's Pyrotechnics, Best of AFN entire series, Incomplete Book of Girandolas, Charcoal-making, and various other items just now, using Google. Which recommended titles were you looking for and couldn't find? The Pyrotechnica series is only occasionally and sporadically available. Fireworks Cookbook lists FAST for 70 bucks and AbeBooks has Hardt's Pyrotechnics for 110 bucks new. Pyrocreations has various titles. EDITED to add: Weingart's Pyrotechnics and Davis' Chemistry of Powder and Explosives- new and used- AbeBooks. Edited August 18 by DavidF
