Senz,

The best thing you can do is ignore that sort of person, there are plenty of them in the world and geting angry won't solve anything, plus do you really want your name associated at all with someone like that?

your right i guess. but hes hes

such a retard...

I'm not arguing with you about that, but there's only two things that are likely to happen, he'll wise up, stop doing dumb things and/or get into real pyro or, he'll hurt himself/others and/or get in legal trouble, nothing you or me can do about it so why get worked up?

Well it is the venting room afterall :) Edited by Senz

When I hear about things like this the only thing that pops into my head is darwinism. Just leave the retards alone and wait for the news that they injured/killed themselves. Survival of the fittest....ignore the retards and let them kill themselves/each other.

Its not that I disagree with you guys but I like my rights in this nation (USA) and the libirals are trying to take some away. If some stupid fucktard gets killed then guess what, pyrotechnics is to blame right? It sucks balls but there is nothing we can do about it but vent right. It sucks thats why I'm pissed so while they're out there blowing shit up and we are here actually being safe in a sense and sky painting (unless you are playing with HE's but thats different).

There aren't enough of us for our concerns to be widely known...politicians in general are not going to be sensitive to our issue. The morons on either side of the spectrum could pass restrictions or laws which effect us. Personally I think south park had it right "You can either vote for a Giant Dusch or a Terd Sandwich!" Your right I shouldn't have said libierals by themselves everyone does. We could change it you know. Everyone at PGI, APC and Passfire, etc. Get together and just start building and the go shoot all of them but not in the middle of nowhere but where people can see. There a probably some fauls in the idea but it might work.

You might check to see who's really taking away our liberties. The Conservatives. That's right, the authors of such odious gems as the Patriot Act. In the last few years, more of our Civil Liberties have been eroded by Conservatives than by Liberals.

That's not to say the Liberals won't fuck us ten ways to Sunday if we give them the chance. They will. But don't think for a minute that a staunch Conservative is going to give us back the rights that his cronies have taken away.

The government wants a nice, pliant, constituency that follows its lead like sheep. After all, they firmly believe that THEY know what's best for the rest of us......

Oh theSidewinder I know. I think anyway. With McCain wanting to allow the illegal immigrants from anywhere come in without doing anything and expect and receive the same benefits as true citizens. Is that right? If not just tell me and I'll look it up.

The reason why I said Liberals in the first place was not that long ago the liberal members (I believe they were all liberals that wanted this) tried to take away our handguns. Second Amendment.

I really believe in Socaillism or Marxism b/c in theory it is genius but really not so much. I think anarchy is retarded and I hate currency. I believe that if you work and do whatever you get what you want and then you do what you love not what gets you money.

I know that all these ideas will never come into play and if they do then who ever does is fucking stupider than a sack of potatoes falls out of a plane. The only reason why I like my ideas is b/c in my own little world in my head where everything works out fine and I'm playing God then it works. But reality is it won't happen and never will. Simple as that.

Find some way to get pyrotechnics into a school project. I'm not saying bring fireworks to school, NEVER do that. Get some good video and pics and show how fireworks work or the chemical processes.

This is MY conundrum! I consider myself conservative, but hold on, guys. The Patriot Act is seemingly a "good weapon for the war on terror" but man..it's VERY broad and far-reaching. Too far by a long-shot.

Start hanging bastages for supporting terror in any form. It's treason. Start hanging politicians for taking bribes and any serious offence in office. It's treason. We're in trouble here folk...big trouble. And I'm sorry to say I'm glad I'm 45 and not 25.

The older I get, the crankier and less tolerant of criminals I get. Hanging is too good for them. Burn them at the stake. And use a slow-burning wood so they don't die so quickly.....

I hope you don't mean people who store fireworks without a license.

Although I am curious, what sort of criminal do you think crosses the line into the "burn at stake" category? I'm not in total disagreement with you, society is simply better off without some people...

Sorry but only to the jackboots is storing fireworks without a license a crime. Now..if said storage facility goes bye-bye in a spectacular fashion, and innocents are injured, then we got a case. Not capital- but none the less a crime of negligence/stupidity would have been commited.

Any capital offence of first degree with intent or while holding the public trust- as an elected official- should seriously be considered a hanging offence. Bribery/vote/law influencing, first degree sex charges...any of these committed while in the employ of ME..Joe Taxpayer. I'm sick of crooks getting away with this stuff and getting rich out of my pockets.

Murder, rape, kidnapping, armed robbery, etc. all should be charges open to the death penalty. And not after 15 years of appeals either.

I personally dont think Armed Robbery Should be worth death. Debate?

Guess you never been a victim of it. I'd be willing to give on that I suppose, unless the victim was injured.

A bunch of my roomate's friends from Germany live in a house together, and were robbed at gunpoint recently in their house. They spent a lot of time over here (at our apartment) for like a week after that...because they were afraid to go back to their house. However, they certainly do not wish death on the guy...Of course capital punishment also does not exist in Germany. They were very perplexed with the whole "people brandishing firearms" thing (guns are not allowed in Germany)...and will probably go back to their country with a very negative view on firearms.

All that said, my own opinion is that every situation has the possibility to misinterpretation/ getting the wrong guy/ some exotic framing scheme (probably not the last one, but you never know...) It might not be terribly common, but you have to admit it does happen that innocent people from time to time have been given capital punishment. Heck, evidence has resurfaced after people have been killed which PROVED they were innocent. I don't think our legal system is up to the level of perfection required by the death penalty. If it was, I might agree with you...at least for rape and murder. And for politicians that use illegal tactics and knowingly screw up our country (as you mentioned bribery and such)!

Maybe this should be moved to it's own thread, this is an interesting discussion point.

And the fireworks storage was a joke, I know there is no moral crime there.

Crime and punishment is an interesting topic in-and-of its self. To me, there are three kinds of crime.

1) Crime against persons

2) Crime against property

3) Crime against law

Example #1) Someone stabs me in the gut and takes my wallet. For this, I'd string the guy up by his nuts and beat him with a sock filled with nickels until he pissed blood and passed out. When he woke up I'd crush his thumbs with a ball-peen hammer so he couldn't hold a knife again.

Example #2) Some "tagger" paints gang-crap on the side my house. I'd make this pecker-head pay to have my house re-sided. If he didn't have the money, I'd be happy to keep him in prison until he could earn the $6800 by working in the prison laundry for .16 cents an hour until he could pay the bill.

Example #3) Some guy gets caught with a joint in his pocket......who cares. I don't do drugs, have no desire to , but who is the doper hurting? You get caught driving without your seat belt on, or on your bike without a helmet. This hurts who? Personally, I ALWAYS wear a seat belt when I drive an a helmet when I ride, but how is it the business of my elected officials to tell me they know how to better make life-choices for me that I do.

Snip.

Depends, if you're storeing fireworks dangerously (not just "improperly" by the governments standards) then it's a moral crime since someone could get hurt from your negligence.

Well yes, if someone had several pounds of unstable mixtures in an old shed next to the bedroom of a neighboring house, then they should be forced to smoke a pack of cigs surrounded by aforementioned mixtures. After being moved to a remote location, of course.

I don't smoke.

I agree but thats why I don't have unstable mixtures in a shed next to my neighbors house.

Argh....So you know I live in France, and I took Spanish as my first language, but after 2 years of school your obliged to take english. Now last year was OK since I was with the better class of english students, but the problem is that this year I'm with the guy's that are just saying "Hello my name is..." and as you guy's can probably see, I speak fluent english, I spent 8 years in a english speaking school il Belgium, and my father is Irish.. So I go to see the principal, to ask him to make it possible for me to skip the class for the rest of the year, he says "No you cannot", so I go to see him with my english teacher and he say's that he'll think about it... I seriously hope that he will decide to let me skip those classes, because it's really but really boaring. My teacher let's me do virtually enything, just today I was doing my math homework in her class...
