MrB Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Hello, My name is Ryan and i come from the island of Malta. AKA the island of fireworks. I am an electronic engineer and i love to build systems. I built countless firing systems with all kinds of shapes sizes and capability. Welcome Ryan. Now, be careful with saying things like "I built countless firing systems with all kinds of shapes sizes and capability." or your going to get drugged, enslaved, and forced to develop something like a community project for a easy to build your self remote firing system, with 12-16+ cues.Even if i have to take a long trip to find you, and do the enslaving bits ;- ) I hope you'll feel right at home.B!
BurritoBandito Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 MrB, I've got some datura growing in my yard. To my understanding, people are very open to suggestion after ingesting scopolamine (and maybe just a little bit insane too). Just putting that out there... 1

Dieseldarling Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Hello, My name is diesel, I'm a burlesque dancer in Sydney just trying to work out how many dangerous things I can get away with onstage without needing a license...!? I will start a thread but feel free to message me if you have any info on the legalities of smoke bombs/pellets! What chemicals are legal to make them? Or are there legal ones I can buy? Indoor use- from the tiny ones to the big ones- any info would be awesome! Cheers! DD

B2Crawler Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Hey, I'm from Missouri. Always loved everything to do with pyro. Got really involved about 10 years ago when I started buy "real" cakes and shells. Instantly got the bug, and have been hooked and growing ever since. In the last five years my backyard show has grown to over 150 spectators and I have purchased two firing systems, ( actually need to upgrade for more ques, 60 just isn't cutting it anymore.lol ) But have done high school graduation shoots, church shoots, and a wedding. I love it and want to know all I can about it and other things, that's why I'm here.
TheSidewinder Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Welcome to the forums, you all! Pull up a chair and read. Diesel, if you were being serious, please do post in the forums for info. While most of us live in the USA, and the laws are completely different, we do have a number of Aussies who visit and may be able to point you in the right direction. We have very little info here on "proximate pyro" as far as I remember, so the other members may be your best (only?) resource.

Shunt Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Welcome to the forum Maxim! It seems like you are mature beyond your age, and have done well with the rockets! I have a great respect for those that can do so much with so little. Warm greetings from a fellow pyro in the USA!
OldDog Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Just an old guy who's always been fascinated by pyro...God has watched over me greatly through some of my youthful [and a couple of not-so-youthful] ignorant experiments. Still have all digits and both eyes, ears don't work as well as they did before I discovered headphones and .44 magnums. Didn't have sense enough to combine those two without the stereo system attached... Have lurked in pyro and boomer forums for quite a few years and have learned a bit. Now that I'm retired I want to put some of this knowledge into practice SAFELY

Rocketier Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Not a newbee. I'am playing with pyro for quite a long time, over 30 years know. My specialty is rocketry. I build rocketmotors from 13mm id till 42mm id. The biggest I build was a 42mm whistle motor with a 10" header on top. That was impressive power. At the moment just building small 13mm en 19mm whistle with cannisters and 3"ballshel headers. I like the power of whistle. Intentions are there to do some testing with the IBP rockets. Great punch on them.
