Hey. I have been interested in small pyrotechnics for a while. I farm and have a lot of property and animals that roam. I've had many critters, and even coyotese on my property trying to get into my chicken pen.

I was given a "m80" by a friend,(as shooting predatory critters isn't always fun) and it surely does make malicious critters run. I want to learn about the legality of what I can make and use safely, for fun and to keep the damn birds away!

Hello,

My name is Stan, Ive been interested in pyro for years and now that I'm getting close to retiring from the fire department after 30 years, I thought I would do some research.Your forum seemed the logical choice. Really impressed with all the good information

Welcome guys! Glad to have you here, do some reading and Please read the Rules Page twice so that it sinks in. Rule #10 (NCIS: Never get personally involved on a case) is very important to many here and you will hear about it if the first post you make is asking about flash. Please don't do that.

Oh, and PLEASE DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!

Hello All.....I'm 75yo and been into pyrotechnics for about 55 yrs. I just learned about this internet stuff and find it very interesting. There are certainly some excellent pointers here. I've tried just about everything and surprisingly, I still have all my fingers. There is no substitute for safety! Knowing what chemicals react with other chemicals is a bonus. Enjoy the hobby...Ciao

Hi,

My names Michael, first time post but I've used this form for a while now for little bits of information here and there. Just figured I'd finally introduce myself just incase I ever wanted to post something. I've built shells for a while now just as a hobby and something to show off on the 4th. I did the amateur rocket thing for years before but pretty much all shells now. I'm an engineer by trade so I like to take pride on precision and always striving for better shells.
