Hi all, been lurking on here for a while then thought I'd sign up.

Many years....too many really, in the hobby and now professionally.

Hope to join in with some of the discussions and maybe even start some more.

Cheers

Welcome to the forums, everyone!

kerazy: I'm damn near 60 (will be so next year) but we're not the oldest. Some members are well into their 60's, and I think we may have a few in their 70's. We're a diverse bunch here. ;)

Hi all,

I am Dr. Dhiraj from New Delhi, India. I am a practicing physician who has fallen in love with fireworks since last 4 years.

I have also been making a Indian Pyrotechnic museum which includes labels, posters and everything related to fireworks. It also includes few fireworks made by indigenous firework manufacturers from state of Jaipur and Maharashtra.

Happy to be here.

Doc

I am new to the forum. I have been a pyrotechnic manufacturer since 1988. I am now 61 years old and looking forward to retiring in the near future. Yes, I do have all my fingers. Safety practices are the most important aspect of building pyro. Be prepared for what your not prepared for. I am not a big fan of computers and such. Looking forward to reading what others are dong out there in the feild of pyro. Digg?

Welcome to the forums, pyrodoc!

Glad to have some members from India. I know it has a good fireworks tradition, but we see very little of it here.

Be sure to post pics if you can, and start a Blog or Photo Gallery of your own if you're so inclined.

And a welcome to you too, wopyro! Glad to have some folks here older than me for a change. ;)

Looking forward to your input to the community.

Howdy,

Live in Oklahoma. New to this forum. See that I have to post (once) to increase my access. Here it is.

Always put on family shows each year at friend's farm (well, on the years we don't worry about grass fires anyway).

Never have made my own, just store-bought mortars and cakes.

Always been curious, so I started today buying many books (and a video) from AJP, skylighter, and pyrodirect.

Reading up should keep me out of trouble for a while.

Thanks for having me.

What's up?

Living in the USA, I've long since been interested in various kinds of sciences and hobbies. I'm starting to get into pyrotechnics more seriously now, and hopefully I can find plenty of resources and friends here willing to help me out. And of course, I'll do the same for all of you.

Thanks.

Hi Everyone new to this forum my name is Bobby.

I have been a PGI member for about 10 years and have attended 6 conventions. I have always bought and shot commercial products and recently expanded into making my own material. Just finished some pretty good BP and was able to make some BP core burner rockets. I am here to learn and to hopefully expand my skill set

Hi,

I´am from europe and new in this forum. I´am about 6 years in this hobby but haven´t done many things the last years, because I had a lot of work for my studies and other things. I hope we have a good time and I can learn some more from the seniors here ;)

Best regards
