The Composition: (by weight)

 

51% Potassium Nitrate

24% Magnalium, the finer the better, I use 325-250mesh

6% Charcoal

15% Sulfur

4% Dextrin

 

Any Precautions/Incompatabilities: Just remember the basic pyrotechnics safety precautions. MgAl burns very hot, and if you have some of this composition ignite on you, the burns from that won't be very pretty.

 

Procedure/Preparation: Screen mix the chemicals 3 times at least, wet using water or a 75/25 mix of water/alcohol, and then pump/roll/cut.
