Richtee Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 No tools, just drilled core sugars. Small stuff. Maybe a report. But I gotta wonder what’s the attraction, other than the launch. You can’t tote crap up high compared to a mortar. I guess it’s the take off.
NeighborJ Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 When you do it right there is a huge sense of accomplishment. Getting a fuel just right with the materials at hand is no small task. A well made rocket makes your penis double in size, woman swarm, your bank account grows and all your endeavors are fruitful. 1

SharkWhisperer Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Gads... I guess I need bigger rockets, eh? If you were ever told "size doesn't matter", somebody was just trying not to hurt your feelings, tsk tsk! Size & payloads make the difference! A bud sent me some 1/2" tooling and it was nice (I make a lot of hybrid finned rockets with homemade motors), but usually fly longish 1-pounders that make Estes motors look like bottle rockets...
