Richtee Posted July 5, 2020 Author Posted July 5, 2020 That video doesn't play for me . . . That’s odd...it IS an older format but mp4 should still be fine. It IS done on a Mac tho.
SeaMonkey Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 (edited) Very nice! Your .mp4 plays fine on VLC in Puppy Linux. Your ribs look scrumptuous too! Edited July 5, 2020 by SeaMonkey 1
SeaMonkey Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 (edited) California's Governor Newsom (Nancy Pelosi's Nephew) banned allJuly Fourth fireworks displays and celebrations this year, butthankfully, the People had other ideas. My neighbor somehow got a supply of fireworks and did avery nice display for the neighborhood. In fact, there werefireworks displays all across the city in neighborhoods startingfrom dusk until about 2100. Really spectacular although verysmall in comparison to the usual, normal July 4th displaysaround town. The Police and the Fire Stations were very cooperative andpermitted it all to take place without interference whilekeeping an eye out for any potential fires. Let Freedom Ring! My dogs were a bit ancy due to the beautiful noise. I keptthem inside and tended to them so only got a couple ofbrief forays outside to view the amazing displays; mydogs huddled around my feet as I sat in my chair whileI consoled them and assured them that everything wasOK. Some people in the city had their dogs escape andrun away during the show but, luckily, all were caughtby neighbors and returned to their owners. Turned out to be a very nice evening in spite of theidiotic governor's edict. Fireworks are "illegal" inCalifornia but, what the hey! Edited July 7, 2020 by SeaMonkey 2
