NeighborJ Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 (edited) https://drive.google.com/file/d/19fDshaNGsIMZGuhjzEXQu9_F9QYyk5ga/view?usp=drivesdk I've formulated this composition after many disappointing tries to modify the chinese white strobe star. I've not tested any colors but red and green, they can now be blended to achieve any color between them. The colors are the best I have ever seen from color strobes. https://youtu.be/atr-wHaK6OQ They are both amazing colors but the green doesn't get picked up well by my camera, in person they are both equally as good. The strobe rates can easily be changed by tweaking the MgAl mesh size. The ammonium perchlorate was 90micron and the nitrates were milled in a blade mill. They burn faster than most strobes but 1/4" stars burn with 3 or 4 flashes. Enjoy, Jason Edited December 5, 2019 by NeighborJ 1

NeighborJ Posted December 6, 2019 Author Posted December 6, 2019 I tried this comp on a strobe rocket. Needs some adjustment but it works nice.
