Blackmach Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 hello, the shell weighed 300g already finished, diameter of the stars was 13mm. regards
jrin0630 Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 That is a very nice shell. Can you provide some info on how it was constructed? 1.- You mentioned using 13MM stars. Were they pumped, cut or rolled? 2- With 13mm (.5 inch) stars in a 4" shell there is not a lot of room left for burst charge. What did you use for burst? 3- How was the shell pasted? 3-strip method by hand?, WASP? thanks. great job Joe
Blackmach Posted April 11, 2019 Author Posted April 11, 2019 Hi Joe, rolled stars, i use for burst meal coated rice hulls in ratio 7:1 + 5g apertura for this shell, 4 layers of gummed tape in water+ with wood glue. In this video you can see the construction metod.https://youtu.be/3-RDLDZ6qlo Thanks you
Blackmach Posted April 11, 2019 Author Posted April 11, 2019 So you used a machine to paste the shell? No, is hand pasting.
braddsn Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Fantastic shell! Perfect symmetry, perfect break power for a kamuro, great hang time on the stars!!!
