Aye, but its a one trick pony. A modded drill press can be used to trim hemi`s, cut tubes to length and drill holes in stuff

My 1.5", 2", 3", 4", 5" 6" and 8" are all pressed to the final shape, there is no sign of trimming. Each layer is a tiny bit offset, no sign of a blade and in those videos, the circular hemisphere cutout should make a "perfect" half. They are all Chinese made, no Japanese hemis.

The glue is probably heat activated. The molds look like they may be heated.
