quintaped Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 I am working with limited resources so bear with me. Are there any tips or suggestions on how to make an electronic match using a Christmas light? I have plenty of 2fa which I can grind if needed, but will be used for a lift charge.

pyrojig Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Thats not a bad price for" ready to go ematches" that you dont have to coat yourself . Did they find some way around the hazmat shipping and regulations ? Nice to see some available materials online , even if they have to ship form china.
Arthur Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 I've often wired professional shows where 5 metre igniters were provided by the company. It's quick and easy to wire especially when the correct labels are on the igniters, -ideal for busy nights with 2+ shows per crew. BUT there is a lot of copper that has been paid for and shipped round the world, that simply gets discarded. I know one company that uses only 12" igniters and has cases of extension leads with wago connectors, they take time to use reusable extensions to save on copper costs-but it costs time on site and may mean having more people. It's each person's preference whether they use more labour or more copper, probably depends on the relative cost of labour and copper.
dagabu Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 I use individual remotes attached to the rocket launcher tube so the length of the e match is perfect for my use.
OldMarine Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 The last Chinese matches I ordered were a meter long.
