dynomike1 Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Has anyone seen a tutorial on double petal canisters? I think i know what to do, but not sure.
Carbon796 Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 (edited) Typically with cylinder shells they are referred to as an inner and outer color. If i had a blue outer with a yellow inner. I would call it a blue shell, with a yellow inner. Petals are a ball shell term. You basically just need another tube type former ( like for your canulle ) but larger in diameter, and i prefer shorter than your canulle tube. To create another ( two ) concentric areas between the canulle and the case wall. The diameter of the tube will depend on the shell size and your two star sizes you want to use. If your doing a stacked comet shell, you can just fill the space between the comets and your canulle, with smaller stars and polverone. Edited November 14, 2018 by Carbon796
dynomike1 Posted November 14, 2018 Author Posted November 14, 2018 Thanks Carbon Ill make something else.
dagabu Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 I have seen some made with like sized stars inside and out but they mix and it looks messy. I like to use stars for a shell one size smaller to give them a good distance from each-other when the shell breaks. Looks better to my eye. ...If your doing a stacked comet shell, you can just fill the space between the comets and your canulle, with smaller stars and polverone...

dynomike1 Posted November 17, 2018 Author Posted November 17, 2018 What y'all were talking about.I got it now
dynomike1 Posted November 17, 2018 Author Posted November 17, 2018 Sounds kinda hard to do but I will try it
Aspirina Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 take a look to pirotex channel. He make all his rockets with 2 different stars, making inner petal and outer petal https://www.youtube.com/user/pirotex2005/videos
dynomike1 Posted November 18, 2018 Author Posted November 18, 2018 Looks easy with comets. I'll try one when it rains.
