Safe way to make 2F Geox BP Finer

I have some 2F Geox BP I would like to make finer and some into fine powder

would it be safe to put dry as is into a ball mill untill I get the fineness I want or is their a safer way

put it in the ball mill and use all care and cation, I make all my bp in a ball mill

Lightly dampen it with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Let it sit (patience!) so the small amount of water in the alcohol can permeate and soften the grains. Then sieve/crush it and dry it quickly in the sun/a warm place.

The alcohol serves as a thinner/vehicle to disperse a minimal amount of water throughout the grains... an alcohol mix with less water may work better, but I've used 70% IPA in a pinch when I've run short of meal D.

Thanks guys. I think I'm gonna try the ball mill to get some meal and also try the 70% alcohol to get some finer grain BP.

Ball milling makes fine powder, crushing big powder makes medium powder and fine powder.
