BetICouldMake1 Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 As a follow up to my other post I'm wondering if anyone knows of a pyro club around central PA. So far the only thing I've found is a dead link to pa-pyros and crackerjacks (not really local but holds shoots in PA). I'd really like to find a club that has a local shoot site or regular local meetings. Or if anyone is local to the area and is willing to share their experience with an interested newbie. Like I said, I'm just getting started and looking for info on staying safe and legal.
Mumbles Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 You may want to look at the Northern Lights Pyrotechnics Club. http://www.thenlpc.org Be aware there is a very similar named club, which is much older, which is based in Minnesota. Northern Lights has some shoots in your area, but does seem to move around a bit. I have no idea where they meet, or how much of a real club they are, but PORC is another organization in the area. http://www.paorgrecchaos.org/ There is also the Mid-Atlantic Pyrotechnics Arts Guild, which meets in Virginia if you want to travel a bit.
cevmarauder Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 I'm just South of Harrisburg, and I'm not aware of any clubs around here. PA may have just started allowing class C, but as far as I know, they're still totally against DIY. So we're breaking the law no matter what.
Sulphurstan Posted October 18, 2018 Posted October 18, 2018 Oh, you guys in us are so lucky to have clubs around.... I'm starving to see one in my country one day....
