YME2019 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 (edited) Hi all! I'm trying to make some Gerb tooling since I currently have access to a machine shop. What I am currently looking at are 1/2" gerbs that are about 4 inches long. That seems a bit long to me, but I have 24 inch tube, so the math works out nice. Is there a recommended length? Additionally, I know how to size high power rocket nozzles, but I'm not sure how to run the calculations for gerbs. I want to make sure it is small enough that I get effect nice and high, but not small enough that it explodes. (I have 1/2" ID parallel wound tubes with 1/8" walls from Firefox.) What would be a reasonable nozzle size? Thanks in advance! Edited May 21, 2018 by YME2019
