Just wondering if everyone else has to clean out the hollow rammer every time they press an increment or is it something I'm doing wrong and yes I have tried smaller increments seems to take forever to press one rocket due to cleaning out comp from inside rammer

Some fuels are worse than others and the various phlegmatizers also make a difference but yes, every increment gets a swipe with a clean out tool. It's the price to play.
