Just back from an Arizona trip. Annual party. This year I did ABT’s... Atomic Buffalo Turds. Chorizo/green onion/cheddar stuffing bacon wrapped Jalapeño halves. Mmm!

I have never seen buffalo chips before. They sure are colorful..............Pat

It is REALLY hard to beat the vortex for wings or poppers! making my mouth water !!

My friend and I did our first competition of the season in Iowa on the 7th. It was a backyard type comp and they were doing a fund-raiser as well. The up-side was the meat was supplied. The down-side was we had to cook a lot (15 racks of ribs). Still, it was a good little starter for the season. Our ribs took second out of 25 competitors! The only problem was the temperature. When we got there and started to set-up, the temperature was 14 F!

Ahh we have another Vortex fan in our midst :) That party was held at the inventor’s Dad’s place in AZ. I’m good friends with them. My site was the first to carry it :)

They ROCK! Alot of that color/contrast is due to me using pre-cooked chorizo sausage..VERY deep red with seasonings..as the stuffing.I cooked the crumbled sausage, cooled and added chopped green onion and grated cheddar. Filled the Jap halves and bacon wrapped.

BTW..a couple of my products..Poultry and Pork Brine..are availavle at All Things BBQ. FYI :{) Wish they carried some of the rubs tho. Sigh.

They look delicious! I have never had buffalo chips. Looks like something to try
