rellim Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Does anyone know where to get a small atomizer that can work with acetone? This would be useful for cleaning up the mess left from making rubber stars.
NeighborJ Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 The ones sold in the cleaning aisle at HD are HDPE and resistant to any solvent used in pyro. The ones to avoid are spritzers sold with product in them already, those can be made for a specific product and aren't necessarily hdpe.
Arthur Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Really old brass sprayers offer fewer problems with solvents. Alternatively use a silicone baking sheet as a work place mat then let the mess harden and crack it off by flexing the sheet. Ultimately check the price of acetone vs the price of a little waste comp.
